If you need more than the number of items that are currently in stock or need different colors, please contact me and I will try to accomodate to your request.

CUSTOM orders are not refundable, sorry... however I always send quality pictures before mailing items, so you can see what are you getting before approving it. I usually ask for 50% down payment before starting to work on your custom order, and the rest before shipping and after pictures have been approved.

If you would like me to send the item to someone else as a present, I will be more than glad to even write a note! I wrap all my packages (not additional cost) very pretty and have a cute handwriting ;)

Any customs fees, duties, or taxes are considered the responsibility of the buyer. Every country is unique in whether or not you will face a tax/fee, OR if your package was detained for checking. I ask that you be aware that this is a possibility.

*I can not be held responsible for the packages lost, delay and damage in the mail after shipment, as I'm not, in any way, involved in the transportation process. Delays at customs are rare but occasionally happen, and are beyond my control. So please consider carefully whether you would like insurance or upgraded shipping (priority, express or global express). However, I'm willing to help as much as I can, i.e. tracking.

They ONLY could be track if they are sent as EXPRESS mail!

**Please remember that shipping around any holiday can be very unpredictable and Priority or Express Upgrades are recommended to ensure faster delivery times!

A note about color: I do my best to photograph my items true to color, however, due to differing monitor and computer settings, the colors you see on your computer screen may not be a exact match to the actual colors in the items.

A note for individuals with allergies: most of my items are backed with felt that contains wool.

Regarding children: some of Sofisticata designs include small parts and pieces. Please be careful when children wear them.

My studio is a smoke-free environment.

*Absolutely no copying. That means DO NOT COPY my work and sell it in your Etsy shop or private website. I work hard, and all my styles are original. I protect my rights as a designer, and will contact YOU if I feel you are infringing upon these rights. Also, you may not purchase any item from my shop, disassemble, and recreate it to sell in your store. It's distasteful and dishonest!

Because all my items are handmade and made to order, spending time to create something "new" and "fresh" to fit the style of each customer, therefore they can not be resold. I will never feel comfortable selling something that already travelled several miles (from me to you, from you to me, and from me to another customer). For that reason, all sales are final and no returns or exchanges are allowed.

I do my absolute best at keeping my customers happy, and go out of my way to put you first. I try to answer every convo within 24 hours. If you are unhappy with your purchase, I will work with each case individually. In this instance, please contact me direct via etsy. NOT thru feedback. :)

All items are shipped via USPS First Class Mail. Upgrades are available as requested. All shipping and handling within the United States is a flat rate (for the shipping fee and production time frame listed on my shop announcement).

I could upgrade to rush priority shipping for an extra of $8.75 dollars OR more depending the weight of your package within the US; OR to a express mail, the cost depends on your zip code. Please let me know if you are interested in either of these options, so I can make the changes on your listing :)

NOTE: "ALL" National & International POSTAL prices went up on January 19th, 2016.

Please note most of my customers opt for no additional shipping services, and their items have arrived successfully. Occasionally USPS packages get lost in transit and I do not refund lost merchandise without appropriate shipping insurance. If you wish to take precaution and add shipping insurance, tracking number, priority shipping, express mail (24-38 hrs within the US), and/or delivery confirmation for an additional fee, please let me know asap *before I ship your item* and I could make you a new listing with the right price for the extra fees.

I will happily ship straight to a giftee as well as include a personal note as requested, just leave me the info in the note to seller at checkout.

FOR THE FLAT RATE shipping price & PRODUCTION TIME, I will be mailing the item out most likely within 18-24 business days of receiving the payment, excluding weekends and custom orders, especially on large orders. Small orders can be shipped out earlier, by contacting me. Large orders, can be shipped out sooner, as well, I can upgrade your order to priority mail (See price above) or Express/Overnight shipping within the US. Please contact me with your zip code for an approx. price. Be patient. It'll be worth it. I guarantee.

Standard/first class shipping time, is fairly reliable but not guaranteed. For guaranteed mail with a tracking number, please contact me prior to placing your order. While packages generally arrive MUCH sooner, I allow the post office up to 2 weeks for Domestic delivery & up to 4-5 weeks for International.

IF YOU NEED AN ITEM SHIPPED Faster, than the regular flat rate (production time "set on my shop announcement", & shipping fee on the listing of the item), I WILL charge you, & YOU MUST PAY before your item is shipped. I DO NOT mail express or rush priority for free. You will have to pay the fees & charges associated with those shipping options, & unless you have made prior arrangements with me & have paid, I will not mail it
